Community Safety Fund – Applications Sought
Bradford Community Safety Partnership invite proposals for the Community Safety Fund. Proposals are welcomed for activities and projects of £1,000 or more that will support community safety in Bradford District in 2015/16 – the total amount to be allocated is £261,000.
The Safer Communities VCS Forum has agreed to co-ordinate proposals from voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations to address VCS priorities in the district. Therefore, individual and consortia bids demonstrating the most effective preventative work and/or contribution to building resilience will be endorsed by the Forum at the next meeting on Thursday 06 November, 10am to 12.30pm at CNet (you are welcome to attend this meeting), prior to submission to Community Safety Partnership Board for final agreement on 11th December 2014.
Proposed activities must also contribute to delivering one or more of the West Yorkshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s and the Bradford District Community Safety Partnership’s priorities. Guidance on completing this part of the application form, along with a list of the priorities, is provided in Appendix A of the Community Safety Fund Proposal Form. You should also refer to the Community Safety Plan 2014-17.
