The Queensbury Community 1940’s Day Committee are trying to raise funds to put on another 1940’s Day for Saturday 18th June 2016. To enable this we are hosting this Irish night at the George. As usual we have to pay the band. Please make a donation to allow to do this. Any surplus will go towards funding the 1940’s Day which has free entry to all in the afternoon. It will be an outstanding community event.

Wheelie Bins – Lynda Cromie

Re-con wheelie bins 014I have  just taken delivery of 4 re-furbished wheelie bins from Bradford Council.

Paul and I buy them direct from waste management and deliver them to Queensbury residents free of charge.

Recently we have had several requests for bins due to the damage which the storms we have just experienced caused.

Prior to today’s delivery I had allocated the small stock of 4 which I had held.

Dear residents if you need  a bin due to storm damage of theft please contact me Lynda Cromie on 01274 884899,  07745683112 or e-mail my husband Councillor Paul Cromie at paul.cromie@bradford.gov.uk

Kind regards Lynda Cromie

Leonard Shute – Funeral Details

Paul and Linda

Just to let you know my dad Leonard passed away late last night.  Thank you for all the lifts you have given over the last year, I know he much appreciated being able to go to his luncheons.

If you could let the people he had lunch with know I would be very grateful as I do not have contact numbers for them.

Janet Pickersgill

Hi Janet,

This is indeed sad news Lynda and our thoughts are with you and your families.

Please let us know when the celebration of Leonards life will take place Lynda and I would like to pay our respects.

Kind regards and blessings Paul n Lynda Cromie

Hi Paul and Linda

The funeral is on Monday 11 January at 2.40 pm at Scholemoor cemetery. Family flowers only but there will be a box for donations to prostate cancer. We will be putting an announcement in the T & A next week but if you can let the luncheon club people know I’d be grateful.
